Alfred James Ridley (March 14, 1906-March 4, 1975) was the son of James H. and Mary M. Ridley. He lived most of his life in Lexington (Mich.) with his siblings Grace, Mary, and Bill. Like his father, Alfred was a farmer, but he attended classes at CMU in 1927 and 1928, and earned a limited teaching certificate. It is unknown if he ever taught school.
